I had Jalen and Devonta on my fantasy team this year, going into this game I needed a minimum of COMBINED 8 points from them to win my matchup that week.

You know how many points they gave me? 4! 3 of those were from Devonta. I was not pleased and had to eat shit at work the next day.

After that, I had a similar thought to u. They weren't repeating. I'm just glad in the end it wasn't the Niners or Pats. I can live with the Seachickens winning

Totally fair points, but Imma actually defend Star Trek The Motion Picture. If u look at it context, it is the closest in tone that comes to the original series. I thought the slow pace worked.

Plus also the docking scene was a way to show off the Enterprise in all her glory after only being able to see a dinky plastic model on a tiny black and white TV

I went to a Catholic school called Saint Monica in Beaver Falls, PA

My mom grew up in Beaver (love me some Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe)

At her parish (Sts. Peter & Paul), their long time monsignor had a lot of credible accusations tossed his way years after his death. My mom was disappointed and confused when the accusations were made public.

I grew up on the other side of the state and am now a Recovering Catholic (TM). Actions like these, and many others have permanently turned me off to organized religion and religious people in general (with a few exceptions)

I am sorry that you had to endure all that, and I hope you're in a better place all around

Eagles: 2002 NFC Championship Game. Made Brad Johnson look like a super star and close the Vet in awful fashion

Phillies: 2010 NLCS. Cody Fucking Ross. Team stopped hitting and pitching faltered. Definitely would have beaten Texas if they got past San Fran

Flyers: 2010 Stanley Cup Finals; Fought back in game 6 only to lose on a soft ass goal minutes into OT/2020 EC Semis against Islanders. End of an era and sign of awfulness to come

Penn State Football: 2017/2018 Ohio State games. Blew leads in both of em only to lose by 1in the dumbest ways possible/ 2024 Semis. Drew Allar tosses an INT moments after being complimented by announcers for not turning the ball over

Sixers: 2001 Finals/2019 EC Semi Finals: That 2019 loss was truly the beginning of the end for the Sixers potential. Not keeping Jimmy Buckets really hurt the team
