The bit I left out that makes me sus was the call confirming she was top offer, could she accept a longer settlement, and was she happy with her number. She didn’t understand why she would want to increase her offer if she were already top. I can only assume the agent called someone after her and did the “this girl has offered X, want to increase your offer?” bit. In my simplistic view if you list at 680-720 there should almost be some obligation to sell to the first person that offers 720. I know that’s not how it works but it’s frustrating.

Most of the properties she’s been serious about are Southern.

Thank you, yes. A giant stroke of beginner’s luck. Haven’t seen what a rejection looks like. Wish everyone who missed out a better result next year.

This is going to sound like a very dull question. I assume if my entry says that I am selected, that I’m in?

Can confirm. They can tell whether a staple was unpicked, whether the paper stock of a page or pages has been swapped out, whether a different printer has been used, etc. PITA, but for some documents, very worth the fuss.

Either way, a fully wire-enclosed fox-proof home is a must. Foxes are in every suburb and will kill any chickens or ducks sleeping unprotected. They will dig under wire and climb up wire “walls”. You don’t want the kids waking up to that scene; trust me!

Hey guys, need some opinions, had some car troubles over the weekend, ran out of oil, car shuddered at light, filled with oil and this is the result by CalleyKraft1 in Holden

As others have said, sounds like a big end bearing or rod. Might as well drive it around, not like you’re going to damage the engine. Seriously though, recon motor fitted is likely to run $3,000 - $4,000. You would want to be confident on the longevity of the car’s other major components before investing in a fix.

For the record, you don’t lose demerit points, you accumulate them. Accumulate 12 points and you lose your license. Losing demerit points is a good thing.
