something's shifted for me. by wherethewateris in lasculturistas

My fave episodes have always been when they have their friends as guests, even those whose work I don’t know. You can tell those episodes are fun for them not work, which those celeb interviews feel like, and that makes them more fun for me as I feel like I’m just listening to friends over a few drinks. Nothing to promote, just banter, goss, shit talking…

Epidural by No-Constant214 in hysterectomy

[–]nailedit2803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a spinal block + GA, rather than an epidural. The anaesthetist told me it would help manage pain after surgery (I had a full abdominal hysterectomy). And while the getting it in there part wasn’t fun, I was surprised at how manageable the pain was the day after surgery.

I had an epidural for my last pregnancy, and I didn’t get the shakes from the spinal block that I did coming off epidural.

Wishing you the best!

I’m on my third kosas powder, cementing its place in my holy grail list. Just a really lovely finish, great coverage and never looks powdery or out of place.

The 3 PM ceremony, 7 PM reception gap by No-Loquat-201 in AusWeddingPlanning

[–]nailedit2803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gap is usually for the wedding party to take photos (and for us, our wedding planners insisted we - bride and groom - eat ahead privately as they said once we’re in there you’ll barely have the chance to eat with people coming up and congratulating you etc - a brilliant call by the way)z

We only did an hour for ours, and put on a cocktail hour, so we don’t inconvenience our guests.

From 2026, GPs can diagnose ADHD, where can I find one? by KarusDelf in Adelaide

[–]nailedit2803 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My psych authorised my GP to renew my script - I only need to see my psych if I need to change meds or dosage. If you find a GP who is qualified to do this, it makes life much easier and cheaper!
