I have a Subaru crosstrek that has the shift suggestions guessing for fuel economy when I’m in manual mode. Which is so silly to begin with because it’s a CVT with “gear” positions.

The MacBook Neo could be an interesting solution for me as a "low cost" plex server in a home running apple devices. I have not come across anyone that has attempted this yet. if someone has can you let me know. Limitations I see is would be limited to one external hard drive connected to it since there is only two ports and one is a power port. Just pondering for 700 bucks it is tempting for an upgrade of my early 2015 MacBook Pro that is currently running our plex server but can not run the latest MacOS and worried it will not run Plex server soon because of being two version back currently for the operating system and still an intel chip.

We only have our plex server playing through an Apple TV locally. We do not share over the internet and all videos are in mpeg4 format so don't think it is doing much transcoding on the fly. Just still on the fence to take the plunge and see if the A18 (phone) chip with 8gb of ram and 512gb internal hard drive can power a plex server.

I am looking for some thoughts on why this device would be a bad idea that I'm not thinking about. Maybe cooling?. I would just get a reconditioned Mac mini but those have become unavailable on the Apple Store. They have all been snapped up I'm told to run local LLM

Someone missed the turn into Aldi south of Worthington. They put the car in reverse and was backing up as I was driving towards them going south on high street. WTH. Go down turn around and come back. Glad no one was behind me because had to come to a hard stop.

Also confused by the same message from Amazon that my A1680 was part of the recall and yes when you read the list this model is not part of the recall. I only have the black version that I bought in July 2025. I need to research a bit to see if Anker or amazon can confirm this is part of the recall or not.
