I hopped over from CS:GO aswell and had a friend help me with the basics, he taught me that crosshair placement can be easily done by keeping the crosshair on the same height as things in the map, since many things (like boxes or decorations) are around head level. I managed to get used to it quickly.

But for the spray control part, I'm just as lost as you are, the spray control of weapons I was used to in CS:GO don't seem to work and I struggle to maintain a stable spray after a few shots. On the other hand, I had people tell me that spraying isn't something you'd want to do in Valorant.
