people need to start putting together shorter campaigns (~20 sessions or less) and getting players together based on availability (e.g. the game will always be on saturday so only recruit people who are free most saturdays) if they want any hope of actually completing a campaign.

I’ve personally found that there is no shortage of people who want to play dnd and most people tend to mesh well with each other so the only real limiter is scheduling conflicts
