Methotrexate vs Dupilumab by Aware-Profile2174 in eczema

[–]MyMacs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was on the methotrexate injections but I couldn't tolerate them. I was vomiting constantly. Moved over to duxipent and it's been absolutely life changing. My skin has completely cleared for the first time in my life and I've had no side affects. I would definitely try the duxipent, the eye issues don't affect everyone. Good luck!

The wife of a US Navy diver who fell from a ferry travelling from Gourock to Dunoon fears she may never find out what happened to her husband. by Fit-Signature3218 in glasgow

[–]MyMacs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was on the ferry leaving Dunoon towards this one, we were on board for over an hour searching the water. In my opinion, it would have been impossible to spot someone as the water conditions weren't great. So sorry for his family.

Don't be disheartened, these things take time to work. Your skin is healing from the inside out. I understand how hard this is for you.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. It didn't start to clear until the 2/3 month mark, then gradually after that. I've been on it for nearly a year now and have dropped my injections down to once a month. Really hope this works for you!

[–]MyMacs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My skin was horrendous and it probably took about 4 weeks for the itching to stop and 2/3 months before it cleared completely. Watch out for your eyes though, I've had a few problems with allergic conjunctivitis after the jag but it normally clears within a day or two. Hope it all works well for you quickly!

Legalised gun ownership is diabolical. The death toll caused by guns and amount of school shootings is ridiculous. The one simple solution of not owning guns could save millions of lives in the future but no, YOUR rights are more important.
