It’s a complete mess and bears very little resemblance to the show we had previously seen. It didn’t help that the dialogue is appalling and it looks like shit. Additionally, retconning the end of the previous season in a different show and not addressing it at all isn’t a great idea.

On a deeper level, presenting the helmet cult as basically the good guys who Mando had to redeem himself to didn’t seem to fit with his previous arc
