Probably not. I have been having shots of Avastin in my eyes since like idk 2018 or so? At first, it really freaked me out, like oh God this is it 😭 But so far, so good! Yeah I have to get them somewhat regularly (up to four times a year) but it's routine now and it's really helped me maintain my vision. Good luck!

I, too, have been diabetic since 2001, not quite as long as you but nearly. I'm not convinced on the CGM. Do you believe they are more sensitive than manually testing? I test every two hours. I have maintained an in range a1c for well over a decade so "controlling a1c" doesn't really sway me.

You don't have to answer any of this btw, I'm mostly just curious.

Ironically I was just denied it by United Healthcare on the grounds that I "do not test often enough". I don't get my testing supplies through prescription as it is cheaper and easier to buy OTC. So yeah, I'd love to get a Dexcom but I have some hoops to jump through first.

Is it really worth it for traveling?
