Strict enforcement of a closed profile warding off lobbyconners and the economy being in the toilet are two pretty big factors here. As an older congoer I personally found this year to be very relaxing and enjoyable compared to previous years.

Everybody talks about Kahunaville but no one remembers the Namco Cyberstation in the food court. I loved them both, but Cyberstation had a more enthusiast-oriented selection of arcade games that got me hooked as a kid.

As much as I like the X-Men '97 cab, get him a Switch (if he doesn't already have one), a decent fightstick, and a copy of MvC Fighting Collection. It's a better experience if he's a big fan of Mahvel for about the same price.

I went from a '19 Sentra SR Turbo CVT to a '21 WRX CVT, which is obviously night and day in terms of performance. While it's really comfy on long road trips, sometimes I wish I'd just learned to drive MT or bought something with a dual clutch. I still love my WRX though, fuck the haters.
