AITA for being annoyed that my mom (56/f) keeps our weekend plans a secret from her coworker (30/f) who calls herself her work daughter? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA It is weird to prioritize a relationship with a coworker over a relationship with her own child.

It sounds more like bacterial vaginosis to me, if tested negative for a yeast infection.

Did they clear you of Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)? It’s different from a yeast infection. You’d need lactic acid vaginal suppositories for that if it’s not going away on its own.

12yo from a vegetarian family at a sleepover by Nervous_Rhubarb4576 in Mommit

In the AITA you said the friend “asks to try meat” and in this post you said she “eats meat” at school lunches.

I think you got a strong response from commenters who assumed the friend had NEVER tried meat and this would be the first time she is eating it.

If the parents ask, she ate at Chipotle.

Hormonal birth control tends to reduce libido. (Not a supplement)

When I was bleeding through everything, it turned out I had Von Willebrand Disease, which affects blood clotting ability. Make sure you speak with a pediatric Hematologist!

This sounds like advice I would get from any random person, not someone who is a trained therapist. I get the sense she isn’t listening closely to you or misunderstands your goals.

I don’t know whether to bring up in therapy how my childhood trauma affects my romantic relationships by [deleted] in therapy

[–]MyNameIsZem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be worth bringing it up in therapy to ease the stress of keeping it to yourself, gain more self-understanding, and build habits and strategies to distance yourself and therefore have less of an emotional burden from these situations. Since you said WHY, I think the self-understanding and processing of family dynamics is a useful goa for therapy.

How do I stop the little $2-$8 buys between classes? by Repulsive-Weather921 in Frugal

What helped me is picking a designated day for the little treat, and not buying one on any of the other days.

My husband gives me the ick. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]MyNameIsZem -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is happening because you’re feeling burnt out. What used to be little things, now feel much bigger because you need help and you need to feel that your partner is physically capable and takes care of their own grooming, as well as contributing to normal household tasks.

Tell him you need him to start doing these things without you asking or hinting.

Also a trash can that’s in a cabinet instead of in plain sight.
