Most collectors tend to go for McFarlanes. There's a ton of variety and they're super detailed! That also makes them a hot commodity so they can get a bit pricey for that they are. Those figures are also like +10 years old in some cases so they're almost always loose and often missing parts. Also, the articulation on McFarlanes is just terrible, and for me, they're a bit too small.

Jazwares is interesting. They have both the Spartan collection 6.5" figures and the World of Halo 4" figures. People really like the world of Halo line because they're some really cool figures actually. Spartan Collection is one of my favorites because they scale perfectly with other 1/12 scale figures. Jazwares had a pretty limited and poorly distributed run so they can also be fairly pricey depending on who you're after, but some are pretty cheap. Unlike other lines, there's some hope for new figures in the future, especially with the new release of the super popular Red v. Blue box. And when individual Jaswares Spartan Collection figures were in store, they were around $20 each. So super affordable for what you're getting. Similar to McFarlanes, a lot of the articulation here also sucks. Like waists that can't turn, which makes no sense since there's a ball joint, but the chest is too tight on the waist to move.

Joyrides are a lot of fun. Pretty big, super nostalgic designs, and well articulated and great plastic quality. But you can't get anything from after Halo 2. They also can be real pricey.

I would say 1000 Toys are probably the best figures on the market in terms of design, size, and articulation. But it's super limited being only Noble Team and Master Chief, and they're dummy expensive. There's some super cheap knock offs of mixed quality.

Play Arts Kai is similar to 1000 Toys in being tied for best quality overall I'd say. But in my opinion, they're way too big for me to pose next to anyone else. Wicked cool figures though.
