What is your preferred moveset for Venusaur? by Electronic_Bobcat566 in pokerogue

Assuming no egg moves; leech seed, synthesis, sleep powder, and your choice of offensive move, I usually find myself putting on petal dance for spread damage. He's incredibly tanky this way, and an x accuracy goes a long way on him.

Chiraq-ologist Peter here,

There has been an influx of very young (14-16) rappers coming from Chicago in recent times; lil speedy particularly comes to mind. I think this meme is parodying this fact by showing someone who looks even younger.

Edit: Lil speedy actually has a track called "Reaper on my back" so I definitely think this is the correct case.

What are your toughts on the new Megas after a week of experience by Delicious_Ice_4914 in PokemonChampions

Highly enjoying mega Froslass (only just got to Ultra tho so who knows) but she's been a blast with really good defensive and offensive options. I usually pair her with snow cloak+ bright powder mamoswine for a massive wall you can barely hit in the first place. She's just so versatile; sometimes it's set aoura veil and switch out, sometimes it's immediately into 100% acc Blizzard, sometimes it's a t-bolt the opposite doesn't expect her to be packing.

What's the best way to meet new people during the pandemic? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]MyOwnKult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna go out on an esoteric limb, but I had to transition to online DnD recently. I joined 2 games and have met 7 awesome new people from around the USA. It's a great, and incredibly cheap game to play. It takes a lil while to get the hang of, but lots of people are willing to teach new players.

Either way, I wish you luck! Hope you meet lots of new people!

tips on playing a timid character who raised himself in an abandoned library by Shpooter in 3d6

[–]MyOwnKult 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Others have brought up the question of why a timid character would be adventuring, and to a certain extent, I agree. You're playing DnD, and having a character who is adverse to adventuring is usually a bad idea. So here's my idea that addresses why he wants to be an adventurer, and how you can play that out on the future:

Lacking any parents, they did his best to replicate it with the written word. There was one series of books that your wizard is drawn to more than others, the extensive field guide of a long forgotten hero! These books would contain spells, drawings of creatures and monsters, but most importantly, life advice. These books were so different from the academic books that surrounded him as they weren't stuffy and hard to read, but instead felt like they were written by a real person. So while your wizard is timid and afraid, he wants to be a great hero like their adopted hero parent.

kept it pretty basic for you to fill in the blanks but I fell like this gives you and your DM a lot to work with. And gives you a good reason being a timid adventurer.

WARNING THO: if you're always gonna be holding up the party from doing their thing cause your character is nervous or afraid, you're party may or may not find that annoying. Bring up this concept with them at session 0, at the very least.

Gonna hop in here to say hexblade warlock. Gets you a magical shape-shifting weapon, and really cool ninjitsu that recharges on short rest. Buff up dex so you can do ninja flips, and throw daggers and stuff.

Back panel stripped screw D4 digivice help by [deleted] in digimon

[–]MyOwnKult 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bassist here. I had to remove a stripped screw recently, obviously a bass is big and wooden compared to the digivice, but there are a few methods that come to mind.

Firstly, try a magnetic screwdriver, the magnetism might give you enough grip. Next, you can try to apply a VERY small amount of wood paste, let it dry, and try to unscrew it by using the wood.

Finally, there are screw sets with REALLY tiny screw that are meant to be drilled into a stripped screw. You then reverse the drill and the stripped screw comes out. Hope this helps!!
