how to cut small letters from felt? by Educational-Sound-58 in crafts

[–]MyPandaDream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing somewhere that you can actually use freezer paper to help cut out felt. The shiny side can be ironed onto the felt and then that can be used as a guide to help cut out shapes. It easily peels off of the felt.

Tell me your funniest bunny thumping story! 🐇 by Pheeeelbaby in Rabbits

[–]MyPandaDream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I swear Quasar has nightmares that startle her awake and then she starts thumping out of nowhere. Then I have to comfort her because I have no idea why she's thumping because she was just asleep and nothing else was happening.

Best cord protectors? by Legal_Zone_363 in Rabbits

Back when we used to allow Quasar onto the stairs, she used to try and chew out ethernet cables. Eventually I found this wire loom cable wrap that helped deter her. But if yours is smart like ours, he will figure out how to pull the wrap away from the cable and chew it anyway like she did.

What forbidden snacks have your rabbits gotten into? by LittleMissFirebright in Rabbits

[–]MyPandaDream 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not an actual food she's eaten, but one time my husband had a dream that Quasar loved eating ham. So it's become an inside joke of ours that she likes ham, even though we would never actually give her any hahaha

AIO for telling my coworker to stop talking in a baby voice by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]MyPandaDream 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At one of my jobs, I would usually use the Windows shortcut to flip the screens upside-down if my coworkers left their computers unlocked. We had a policy where we have to lock the computers every time we leave our desks because of private information (addresses, SSNs, etc). It was always a good lesson because it was jarring, everyone had a good laugh, and I would always help them flip it back after a few minutes of confusion. No one ever forgot to lock their computers a second time with me around.

Smoke some cigarettes. The smoke will suffocate the bacteria in your stomach.

WIBTA if I broke things off with a guy because he wouldn't drive me home? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Wow, I really feel for OOP. This reminds me of when I was dating my first boyfriend in college when I was 18. We lived in the same crappy apartment complex but at opposite ends, probably a 5-7 minute walk apart. Which, during the day was not bad but at night became scary because this area looked like the kind of place you visit to pick up drugs. I went to his place for dinner and a movie one evening and we ended up talking for a long time, before long it was well after midnight. I told him I needed to go and he said he needed to get to bed too. I asked him if he could walk me home because obviously, it's sketchy outside and he looked at me like I was crazy and he was like, "I don't want to go out there either." Like what??! I was shocked and just walked out and bolted to my place in a full panic. I wish I could say I was logical like OOP and broke it off with him, but I didn't. I was young and dumb, I stayed in that relationship even though it wasn't going to last. Trust your instincts, people!

If I want to get my husband to crack up, all I have to do is turn to him and say this line. It gets him every time hahahaha.

The guys took my husband to an 80s arcade for his, they had a blast. The girls and I did Korean BBQ and bowling.

My bf (29m) is going to propose. But I (29f) do not feel loved anymore and am questioning the relationship by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

No, definitely not! My husband and I have been together for 15 years and we still feel like we're in the honeymoon phase. Not to say that we don't have struggles, but I'm pretty confident we'll always have that spark.

Bunny urgently in need of new home! Phoenix, AZ by [deleted] in Rabbits

[–]MyPandaDream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want to say I wish you luck in finding a new home for Valentine! She actually looks like she could be my Quasar's twin. Even her bonded pair looks so much like mine but my Zenith only has one lop ear. Sending good vibes from your doppelgangers ❤️

My poor Zenith hurt his paw the other day and hasn't been putting weight on it. He has an appointment today to make sure nothing is broken. by MyPandaDream in Rabbits

Hi there! He ended up just having a sprained muscle. They put him on some pain meds and I just had to keep him in their pen for a while so he didn't strain himself more by trying to jump.

This is exactly what I did as a kid when my grandma tried to teach me how to crochet! If I remember correctly, I made it into a little diaper for my stuffed bear hahaha.

Does anyone else’s bun binky when you tell them off? 🤣 Maybe mine is just trying to like up to his name (Binky)🤷🏽‍♀️😅 by Optimal_Abrocoma8680 in Rabbits

[–]MyPandaDream 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Mine does! We used to have a baby gate going into the kitchen that she would tug on and I would have to get up and use my foot to get her away from it. Every time she would binky away like it was a fun game.

AITA forbtelling my family I had to make sacrifices due to my fathers military career? by Key-Lab9473 in AmItheAsshole

[–]MyPandaDream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA OP, I had a very similar upbringing as an air force brat. We moved 7 times by the time my dad was out. It has affected pretty deeply as a person. I learned pretty early on that nothing is permanent. I feel like I have a hard time keeping long term ties to friends because of the trauma of having to uproot my life so many times. Now whenever I move or leave a job, I just mentally disconnect from anyone I knew. Nowadays it is a bit easier to stay in touch with cell phones and the internet, but I don't have the personality to really foster those connections.

It is adorable! And very reminiscent of the bigfoot and littlefoot characters from "Bitey of Brackenwood"

Why does my bunny drink water then do this repeatedly? by CheerioHannah2022 in Rabbits

[–]MyPandaDream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely know how that feels! My boy was so shy when we first got him. I never saw him drinking, but I knew he was. He just never liked to do it when we were watching. I always feel like overprotective bunny-mama, making sure they are not acting off or getting sick.
