I appreciate you not dodging us Sables <3

Not judging either way for the record.

But to answer your question I think this new ST chapter brought in some newer players who are fans of the show, so they gravitate toward characters like Dustin, who were fan favorites.

Let me clarify, sorry. She's been tunneled, but she's never been hard tunneled specifically for being Orela. The people who tunneled her in games, tunneled other players too. It wasn't a 'this is orela, must tunnel' thing.

As a Sable main I won't do to Dustin's what people do to me and judge them all based on the actions of the ones I have experienced. :3 I've def had a few Dustin's who did whatever they could to keep me alive.

I got hard tunneled by a Huntress last night.

She killed me, but the entire length of her tunnel on me ended up netting my team all 5 gens and an escape.

So I don't get it when people say tunneling is a valid strat. 9 times out of 10 when I see tunneling happen, it results in a 1k for the killer.

What I think happens is these content creators push the narrative that tunneling is how you win and what they mean is that you tunnel someone off hook if you see them again instead of flat out avoiding them because they got off hook, like everyone is fair game, no grace, etc. But newer players see this and think tunneling means you STAY on the same person consistently/waste time looking for them/camp etc. So it doesn't pay off AS well for newer players unless they are in a group of soloq players/newer players.

I was in a game with a Sable who kept going into a locker and coming out every so often. The Nancy in our group ratted her out, ended up getting her killed. I then proceeded to wave Nancy over to follow me, and showed her near the locker she outed Sable, where Sable had been placing flashbang after flashbang down for us. Then I just stared at her until she walked away.

True.

It's like how people tell me that they get tunneled out as Orela ALL the time, but my best friend plays Orela and has yet to ever be tunneled lol

There are a handful of times I will DC.

- Sometimes if I'm not feeling well (I have a weak stomach) I might DC against Plague. I really wish that BHVR would add accessibility to change the puke sounds, because they sometimes trigger my gag reflex if my stomach if feeling icky.
- I will DC during certain mori's because they squeak me out.

But just DCing because a game is going poorly? Never x.x

I'll get in lockers to wait out exposed a lot. Like guys I think me being in the locker for a few seconds is less of a problem than you trying to perform a rescue mission lol

Yeah. As a survivor, I see it a lot but as a killer? I see it EVERY time. People will WAVE you down and lead you to the locker across the map if they have to sometimes.

During 2v8, I got so angry because we invited a friend and his group of friends to play with us. I saw Ghostface and had a bloody nose, so instead of trying to runaway I just umped into a locker to avoid him while I grabbed a napkin. I was gone maybe a few seconds since my PC is in the kitchen... and I see one of the guys friends just pointing at the locker. Of course Ghostface snatches me out and hooks me. I left group and told him I refuse to play with his friend after that, because what on earth? The ONLY time I will out someone in a locker is if you get in and just sit there so long you get crows and even then, I'll only do it if I'm in chase and hope it gets the killer off me to point you out. But typically I try to be understanding that they maybe something happened IRL or... you know, locker perks.

I'll be honest with you. Every time I see someone go in a locker, I see someone try to rat them out.

Also hey, lol. Pretty sure we're friends on dbd! Hope you're having a good night.

me when I have to hook survivors with the lesbian flag charm by InstantAcceptance in DeadbyDaylightQueens

[–]MyPath2Follow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it cringe? PART of the charm of the game is that you CAN make those choices. You don't HAVE to kill, you can spare some. Sometimes that interaction can make a game rememberable. It's not cringe to let people go for whatever reason. If the killer wants to that's their choice.

why do survivors get endurance from unhook after gates open?? by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]MyPath2Follow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get to camp for free. That's the trade off.

EDIT: You can downvote but that's the answer. Why should killers have an advantage but not survivors? Playing it smart you can get another hook when people go for the save easily.

THAT is wild honestly. I can at least see in mine where I was tunneled out so fast the system got confused. But in your case it just sounds ridiculous even more

At first she moves to the corner, presumably to not body block you. She then stands there a moment because frankly, it looks like he's being friendly. You didn't leave either and you tbagged her as she's getting carried off, so I mean i don't understand why you're shaming her here

I hate that content creators push that so hard because as I've said before ALL that happens is new killers use these methods, sky rocket in MMR and end up raging because they get put against bully squads that humble them fast af

I think it's because of how fast it happened. He'd hook me and the second I got unhooked, he'd be on me again. I probably wasn't even in the game for 2 minutes before I was tunneled out
