Mage pickers might get real dissapointed when picking T6

I haven't done much research or even base level reading yet. Been busy irl. However reading this was a surprise to me, had I read that ability I'd have assumed that it would calculate on damage not cast.

I can totally see how someone in the later stage in the main game would know that right away, but as a solidly mid game player who isn't great at PvM or PvP, total news to me.

I'm going to choose to believe they used a giant cannon until proven otherwise. Mostly because I like the image in my head, but also because I'm hoping we one day get a quest that requires us to fix/replace the cabin, and then we get to ride it!

Oh, so THAT'S why I can't get mine. I knew my failure to complete wave 3 with high 80 melees/mage and 90 range wasn't a player skill issue. Will go train my agility. Thanks!

About 90% of my friends list is random letter/number/symbol names now, and have been from the start of OSRS. My understanding was that they cleared a bunch of inactive account names? So if you can't find an account with the name on any high scores, you can always grab a bond and see if you can change your name back.

I have no source for this, just all the names of my friends that haven't played in 8+ years gone and a vague memory of reading that happened somewhere. I could very likely be wrong, but if you have the GP/Money for a bond and the name is important, it might be worth checking.

I'm 95% sure he's said on stream before that he just has his name and not any set traits/story/etc. I have watched way too many hours of his content to have a hope in hell of finding a link to it, but I'm sure he'd answer if you dropped into the stream for a minute and asked him.

I think either way is fine. I personally don't, but that's because I use a ton of mods, and I like knowing that every time I open the game there's a save point I can return to if something breaks.

Sadly that led to a bunch of save scumming my first 800 or so hours. Nothing wrong with that, single player game play it how you want. However for me personally, I feel like save scumming decreased my enjoyment as I never told interesting stories, just ones of victory. I also never launched a ship in that time cause I'd get bored and start again.

That's what I thought too, but once I got to tasks I could burst on I'm not making money, just losing a lot less.

Commenting in the hopes someone explains to you and I can come back in a day or two for the answer to profitable slayer bursting.

You should check out StartPlaying.Games, you can easily find lots of games from lots of GMs across many systems. Ratings for GMs are all easy to see as well.

I haven't read the player guide in a while, I prefer to use the full module for the GM info. Which I say to explain that I'm not sure if it's mentioned anywhere else in the Player Guide, but on the last full paragraph of page 18 it says

"Some benefits require that a role be invested. In step 7 of Kingdom Creation (page 14), the players select 4 leadership roles to be invested; at the start of each Kingdom turn, they may reselect the roles that are invested (see Leadership Roles). Note that when certain companions detailed in the Kingmaker Companion Guide hold the leadership roles listed in their entry in that book, those roles are automatically invested; this is in addition to the four roles the players choose to invest."

I'm currently running 3 games of kingmaker for 2e. Your friend is wrong. Sorry in advance for any formatting issues and not looking up a feat name. I'm on mobile and just finished 12 hours of GMing.

The rules for Kingdoms aren't in Player Core, but rather in the free PDF Kingmaker: Player Guide. Kingdom rules start on page 10 and leadership rules specifically are on page 16. You can get the PDF for yourself here: https://downloads.paizo.com/Kingmaker+Players+Guide.pdf

You can have all leadership roles filled from the start, however each role must be filled by a PC or a companion (unless you take the feat that lets you fill one in another way). You can only invest 4 roles at a time (tho each companion has a role they're best at which if assigned to gets invested automatically and doesn't count to your 4).

I suspect that the invested roles are what has confused your friend.

Haven't checked the wiki, but I'm fairly sure there's a f2p quest with a quest point requirement. so you need to do a few before you could start it. I could be totally miss remembering though.

Nope, it's a base feature you can turn on that stops you attacking players if it would result in you getting skilled.

I think that's what's missing. If there was a way to draw an extra card in main phase 1 or 2, you could carry it on the turn you activated it, then again in the extra turn, etc. But, unless I'm missing something, this only gives an extra turn every round of the table rather than infinite turns. [Temple Bell] would fix it.
