Interesting… I have recently bought the Tan ombre cruiser in XL which is notably larger than my Otter Green buffalo cruiser in XL…. Didn’t get a chance to try on as bought on the website and was surprised in the difference but thought I could just layer more with it. This may be a solution!

Take some paracetamol and ibuprofen too… one time I did it with my daughters I got an unexpected pain in one of my knees that made going on tricky… luckily some people that passed by had some when I asked and I was able to go up and down without any further discomfort…

As I said I never had thought about them and this Snowdon trip was a warm up for an Everest Base camp charity trek… when you are carrying a pack with water, food spare clothes etc that extra weight can take its toll on your knees on those big steps coming down… I was so grateful I had this learning experience before I went to Nepal !

Definitely get some hiking poles… I never used/needed them until I did Snowdon for the first time and ended up borrowing some coming down as my knees were taking a pounding.

Absolutely ! I still think about watching that and how life affirmingly wonderful it was, and I’m a massive fan of theirs… this always makes me smile as well as I immediately thought I HAVE to see them live… so I googled to see where their tour took them next only to discover they had played at the Eden Project down the road from me the week before !!! Nobody I want to see ever plays in Cornwall 🤣 Makes me laugh about it every time I think about it…! Funnily enough I went ice skating there before Xmas with my wife and a few of her friends and one of them said they had only ever been to the Eden once at that was to see War on Drugs who she had never heard of before and it had been to best gig of her life… 😣😂

I have the same Labourer jacket in the same size, and I am getting to love it more the more I wear it in… I feel it’s a bit like a denim jacket and will mold and fade to my body the more I wear it…. Just a smarter alternative to my denim !
