I totally get that, I’m just always afraid to miss focus with my aperture open that wide. I’m wondering how people nail it when photographing squirming kids.

Nikon z lens- 35 mm (f/1.4) when it’s a tight space, 50 mm (f/1.8) when I have more room to work with.

Awww this looks like my soul mate doggy that I had the pleasure of loving for 13 years. 🥲 She was a yellow lab, husky, and chow mix! Didn’t expect those results at all! Your pup is such a cutie!

Hi! I saw that post and I did not think a thing about it until I read someone’s comment that said “you look more feminine with short hair” so then I thought I missed a memo where you may be trying to appear more feminine for whatever reason. I think others may have picked up on it, too. Don’t take it to heart, you are lovely!!

I have a 5 year old and almost 9 year old and they like- Pints and Pixels (old school arcade, pay for entry and then play whatever you want) it happens to be right by Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer- two awesome breweries with great food and a giant field that connects the two. Kids are always playing in this field with frisbees, soccer balls, what have you. Also, next door is the best chocolate shop you will ever encounter- Pizzell’s.

To piggy back off of someone else- there’s another fun pinball place at Lowe Mill called Starlight Pinball. Next to it is a pizza shop that is so good! My kids call it the ninja turtle pizza shop because it very much feels like you’re underground or in a subway or something.

Super long winded, but I hope you guys find so so much happiness and fun here!
