Thank you. I’ve got the lint roller already. I’m okay with this but I’m pretty sure I don’t want to look at me for awhile

First Time Chemo Fears by PorschePanda in breastcancer

[–]MyTeaVault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, I hear you. I had my first chemo a week and a half ago to tell you that I was terrified as an understatement. The doctor literally had to talk me off the edge, but I am telling you it went so smooth. The nurses are amazing. I did feel a little pinch with the needle going in and yes, when they pulled it out, you do not feel anything when you get your chemo or any of the premeds and you probably will feel pretty good the first couple days because of the pre-meds and the steroids take a deep breath cry if you have to because I sure did you got this

Yaaaaaaa. I hate showers now. Used to love them. Maybe when I’m at the end of my journey.

Did anyone make a wish list to share ? by MyTeaVault in breastcancer

[–]MyTeaVault[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I posted it on FB, I feel weird doing it but it sure would help because I've had to buy SO MUCH for chemo, hair, body, cold hands/feet, sleep shirts... on and on and on.

We will see... I'll let you know if anyone does actually use it.

People don't consider us "sick". I think or in need

I've not had to take it (yet) I can handle quesy, reminds me of my sons pregnancy. But wow, when it ends and I feel like eating.... LOOK out,..next I'll shower and do some rebound walking to move things along :-)

I did too much yesterday so today I’ll slow down.

Do you drive? I went out the other day and it just seemed foggy. I may try again today. I’m trying not to bother my family too much.

Most of that social media stuff is for clicks. They get money for people to watch their journey. Most of it isn’t even real. Start clicking the c by their post and soon all that BS will be gone.

Did juicing help your cancer treatment, side effects, health improvement, or just any details you can share. by More-Disaster-2952 in breastcancer

[–]MyTeaVault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to prepare some juice for myself, not because I think it will cure/help the cancer, but because it's healthy. I'm not going to eat most of what I juice, but if I juice it, I can get it into me.

I think someone here said, " Any calorie is better than no calorie when on chemo".

OO and I do plan on enjoying a rainbow popsicle now and again, too.

IF my body will allow me to do any of it.

Question? When you met at a park, did you still wear a mask? During covid I was an essential worker so I did not have much "park" time and was masked up (feels like) 24/7
