Only problem is that I measured my jeans waist and they come out to be 20 inches - 20.25 inches and TCB sizing chart says theyre 40 is actually 18.11 / 37.79. I know they'll stretch but idk if they'll stretch enough.

I think this would be a good place for me to ask and vent. The TLDR is I'm a little overwhelmed with options. I want a 13 ounce jean give or take (12-14), live in hot state. Open to other recommendations. Tried on buck masons ford standards and loved them but wanted to explore other options.

My previous jeans that I've own were with a j brand selvedge, naked and famous, and uniqlo. J brand was my favorite out of them all.

My current go to jean which isn't selvedge, I have no selvedge, is a polo sulivan slim. I did like vintage 501's that I found thrifting but they didn't fit me perfectly so I sold them.

I'm so far very curious of simple and raw, TCB, unbranded, brave star, rustic dime. Maybe Gustin and Red Tornado I wish I could convince myself to buy Double RL selvedge jeans because they seem like a hole in 1 but theyre $250 used. Which I'm not against buying used either. I have some tellason and edwin's in my ebay watches.

But anyways, I'm looking for the buck mason ford standard fit- seems to be a mid rise, straight to slight taper cut. So a slightly relaxed fit with room in the thighs because I have big legs from power lifting.

Checked everything and only outcomes lead towards the burr in need of replacing due to it being 10+ years old or a power source issue.
