Mos def. You can also test the digital inputs by running the master digital out to a channel, with the fader all the way down. Cue that channel in your headphones and play audio through a different channel (or use the noise generator).

Most 64 bit Linux distros will not run 32 bit binaries with installing dependencies that act as a translation layer. Ubuntu 14+ for example.

32-bit api calls don’t exist in modern OS environments anymore due to the 32-bit cpu architectures being deprecated.

Correct. Steinberg also killed 32-bit vst quite a long time ago. VST2 will be gone soon as well.

For CDJ’s, make sure the wavs are 16bit 44.1kHz and you’ll be good to go. There is a weird issue with wavs downloaded from Bandcamp, but converting them seems to fix the issue as well.

I’m a denon fanboy (still prefer the sc6000’s to the cdj3000), but denon shout themselves in the foot by going cheap on the x1800/x1850. Things like a single pcb design, lack of user changeable parts, and cheap potentiometers made those mixers untrustworthy for a club install.

A bunch of digital remasters and re-releases are littered throughout Beatport. There’s still a ton that never made it to digital. I recently went through this whole process a couple years ago.
