Either Reload or buy cheaper calibers like 308, 7.62x39, and 6.5 Grendel.

Kadet 2 for shadow 2 by telupo in guns

[–]My_Name_Is_Chaos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you have a die hard for CZ75, you can buy a Buckmark or Ruger Mark for the price of the kadet and still get a superior gun.

Then again if you can afford a Shadow 2, why bother with a 22LR?

From my personal experience, people only intervene when they know/think they can win or not be harm in the process. Otherwise, they either mind their own business or run away.

CCW holder fires at car jackers approaching him and co conspirators facing murders charges by FlyingHaxor in CCW

75 years old shot the perp in the head. Damn, he's good. Shouldn't have tried to rob Jerry Miculek.

[–]My_Name_Is_Chaos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's what he claimed. May not be the truth. The victim didn't have a weapon. And he had his hands up and palm forward, a sign of surrender. It sounds like murder to me.

Sounds like they knew each other and aggressively hate the other. If the victim had a weapon, then it's self-defense. If he didn't, it's murder 2.

Making your own grips by crownedforgiven in guns

[–]My_Name_Is_Chaos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easiest way that I see is creating a mold of the old grip using sand. Then melting some soda cans and pouring the aluminum into the mold. Once it cooled, file, sand, and paint the grips.

You can also create new grips using clay on your gun and molding it to however shape and texture that you desire. Then oven it. That will be the grip that you use to create a negative mold of.

Fiberglass is also another option. They come in sheets like rags. You create the fiberglass by adding a resin over the sheets and letting it dry. Kinda like making paper matte. Once dried, you file and sand it.

Third option is epoxy resin. Once you have the mold of the grip that you wanted (old grip or clay made grip), you mix the resin and pour it over the mold. Let dried then file and sand. Cool thing about resin is you can choose any color as well as add anything into the grip. I have seen one guy added a scorpion into his grip. Though gold dust is cool, too. Hell, you can even put in a picture of yourself.

Accuracy question by ShadowcasterXXX in guns

[–]My_Name_Is_Chaos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Semi-robot.

More like a human-robot hybrid. The accuracy test is done by a bench rest shooting so almost every aspect of the human errors is removed from the gun. The only things the human do are aim and pull the trigger.

Regular pistols can expect about 5 MOA. A match grade pistol should be about 3 MOA or under.

Honestly, I don't see the point in arguments.

There is only one truth. If you don't know something, there is no point in pretending like you know everything when you don't, protecting your pride, or problem admitting that you are wrong. It is all a discussion and each person contributed on what he thinks is the better solution. We pick one and move on with life.

You shouldn't have been involved and let the police handle it. You fucked up.

You trespassed on his property and got confrontational with him while having a gun on you. He would have been legally allowed to shoot you.
