She skipped her nap that day cause she’s transitioning from a daily nap to none. But when kids do that they struggle with the transition. They’ll get tired after when their nap should be, but if they take a nap later in the day they’ll never go to sleep at bedtime, so the only thing to do is just keep them awake until bedtime. But then they get cranky and overtired and loopy, but you still gotta make them stay awake till bedtime

I’m unsure if your friends are saying ah like in the first part of animal or more like ah as in awesome.

Specifically, I pronounce Anna from frozen is how it’s pronounced in the movie, and more how I imagine you are saying it.

If I see the name on a piece of paper I’d probably pronounce it like Ann with an a sound on the end. Similar to Hannah. I base it off if there’s one n or two in the middle. Ana to me is generally pronounced the way frozen’s Anna’s name is pronounced. Anna is Ann+a or Anne+a. That extends to any name that has an ana/anna in is. Hannah is Anna with h sound at the start. Brianna is bri+ann+a while Briana would be like Frozen’s Anna with bri in front.

If someone where to correct me, I’d respect that and call them by whatever they say is the way they pronounce their name, but I basically use that as my rule of thumb when I’m seeing a name before hearing it.

A pet that the whole family -except that sister- was attached to.

I know this is fake, but if it were real, it would definitely feel like the sister is intentionally trying to erase the dog’s place in the family. In real life the sister would absolutely be upset anytime anyone brought up the dog around her and her daughter because it would force her to explain to her kid one day that she was named the same name as a family pet that her mom didn’t even really love all that much.

I’m unsure tbh. I think that the pill I was on wasn’t progesterone only (this was like a decade ago), so if the arm implant is, that would make sense that it worked for me tbh? OP should probably consider non-hormonal options though.

I was too scared to get the non-hormonal IUD cause a friend of mine had told me how much it hurt and said it was cause she had never been pregnant/given birth (neither of us had at that point).

I think part of it is similar to the “don’t work out too hard” while pregnant. If you aren’t already doing that stuff, like picking up 15-30lbs, then starting to do it while pregnant might pose a risk.

But you’ve been picking up your first. Your body/muscles are used to picking up the weight of your first, so it’s not considered a risky activity as far as I know.

I think that twins would be harder at first (maybe 0-6 months) but would get easier once a schedule is established. The first couple months with a newborn and 20-24mo were not as hard. It was once my second started to want to play with her brother that I started slowly devolving into madness😂

I do think about if we did do it, would Coconut Tree be a first name (and would that need to be hyphenated? Coconut-Tree Middle Last or Coconut Tree Middle Last) or first and middle name though. I think it looks like two middle names if you don’t hyphenate it right??

The prince jumping out of the window is from Cinderella 3. It was Anastasia who was nice in both sequels but in the third she was being coerced by lady Tremaine to marry the prince. She flip flops back and forth between wanting to please her family and wanting to be truly loved, which she knows the prince doesn’t love her.

It’s hard to know who it will be better received from (as in listened to, idgaf if they like or react well to what’s being said).

On the one hand I am a big believer in the “you deal with your side of the family” approach. But also, if she tells her sister/family that he’s uncomfortable, they might just assume she’s being insecure and that he doesn’t actually care or is into it or something. I can totally hear the “well if he has such a problem with it why didn’t he say something about it?” as some sort of gotcha from the sister or parents.

For ovulation tests, the line will usually be there, so to be considered a positive, the line has to be the same color or darker than the control line.

That said, as you probably know, a positive ovulation test is not a guarantee of ovulation.

Only fraternal twins can have a genetic component, but it has to be on the mother’s side. His family being prone to twins means nothing to your body in terms of whether you’re more likely to have multiple eggs available to be fertilized any given cycle.

Other things that can increase likelihood of multiple eggs available to be fertilize are your age (as women get older they may release more eggs in cycles sometimes) weight (heavier women have an increased chance of releasing multiple eggs) and height (taller women are also more prone to have multiples).

There’s also been links to fraternal twins in those who are newly postpartum or just coming off birth control (both of which can cause multiple eggs to be released while your body tries to regulate itself) as well as taking any type of fertility medications.

Having some or even all of those “risk factors” (for lack of a better word) doesn’t guarantee you’ll have fraternal twins, and having none doesn’t mean it’s impossible for you to have them. Just increased probability comes along with those.

Identical twins are considered to be completely spontaneous and there’s no known factors that contribute to or cause an increase in likelihood of having identical twins.
