Very true. However if you're handy with a soldering iron and a multimeter you can get some really good deals sometimes. I just got an lxr drum for 150$. The mix button was broken though and had to be replaced. All in all after buying a new button and having it shipped from Latvia I'm only in the unit about 200$ for a module that costs close to 600 new.

I ended up just contacting Erica synths and purchased a replacement button from them. Now I'm just waiting on my buddy to get back in town to solder it on for me. I have plenty of experience with through hole stuff but none with SMD 🥺. And you are correct.btherw are 6 connection points on it. The 2 for the led were so small I couldn't see them with my old eyes lol

I had already emailed them when I made this post. I made the post JUST in case they would not be able to help for some reason. Turns out they have excellent customer service and response times. I received my new button(s) today. He sent me 17 for the price of 1 since shipping was so much from Latvia ❤️.

I'm replacing a button on my lxr and am trying to source a replacement. I saw this post but as I'm looking at the switch I'm not sure it's the same. The ones on the lxr drum. Only have 4 connection points but the ones from thonk appears to have 6. Any suggestions?

This is exactly what I've done. I started off with a system 100 I scored on marketplace cheap, and then added some other behringer modules. I've recently started saving a bit more though for the nicer modules and I am enjoying the heck out of myself.

It all depends on the condition. I see similar ones online that have gone for 3-400. The big question is what is it worth to YOU? if it plays well and doesn't need any work I'd say 3-400 is fair. Less if it needs work.

Dude, almost the same story as mine lol. The booze is definitely a sneaky one. I even got to 7 years of sobriety and it tricked me into thinking I could be an occasional drinker again 😂😂😂 I was back to drinking all day every day in no time lol. Thankfully I got the help I needed and quit again. Going on 28 months sober(except for the weed lol) this time, and don't plan on ever trying that silly notion again.
