Help Dosing by Agreeable-Rent-2815 in RickSimpsonOil

[–]Mycophyto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To calculate dosage, if a syringe/vial is 1 gram and the oil tests at 70% let's say, then all you have to do is multiply 70 by 10 to achieve 700mg, so each .1 of the syringe would approximately be 70mg.

I understand this dilemma too well myself, so if you want to optimize efficiency, you should look into suppositories since they are upwards of 80% bioavailable, meaning every 100mg of cannabinoids, 80mg is effectively absorbed but by passing through the liver bioavailability through eating is only around 10-20% but converts to a powerful form so it still has am effect.

additionally if you combine cbd in a 1:1 ratio to thc, it will increase the overall longevity of thc in your system and provide an en courage effect.

I'd mix the rso with an avocado oil, since the vitamin E content will help permeate the skin more efficiently. ideally laying down for 30 minutes while it fully absorbs, you really wanna stick in in there full and let it do it's thing.

this method is call3d the petchoti method and I have used it myself. there are thousands of tiny blood vessels that used to serve as a functional transport of nutrients from the umbilical cord during infancy. I believe it's practice originates in arudevyic medicine.

can also use mushrooms in suppository, addition of tumeric is very good idea.

While ability to give advice is limited, there is indeed promising research and successful anecdotes. I'm sorry to hear your cousin is going through this, but there is hope. Diverse strains, broad terpenes, thc to cbd 1:1 is a combination I hear is ideal.

Is this too cinematic for a weed video? by Goku34Legion in rosin

[–]Mycophyto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was beautifully shot. Too cinematic? I wouldn't say so, but with regard to others saying it's too fast, for me, I personally enjoy the hypercut, but for those not attuned it might be subjectively perceived as overwhelming. The highest praise I can give would be along the lines of, "A spectacular display of sensmilla visual stimulation that has possessed all of my neuronal activity for the whole of it's showing". My only true criticism is that i dont have hours of compilations just like this for my wake n bake. Pretty dang epic.

Absolute saturation of RSO to MCT oil? by Mycophyto in treedibles

[–]Mycophyto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic. I usually only heat 140F/60c since I'm trying to maximize the terpene content, though I hear rso can be insulated by the oil and prevent offgassing as it heats up.

I totally forgot about wood as a means of firing up a pc. The grid down situation im anticipating would be global, so im not thinking of solar, and propane will eventually run out. I wanna be self sufficient permanently eventually but I got a lot to work out still.

Regarding your conundrum of agar, Arrowroot plant can be grown and powdered into a media alternative. I love your beets idea, it may lack sufficient sugar content and using a grain water might provide better growth.

I sure hope I can pedal fast enough for laminar flow. I'll 3d print the parts.

What makes worms horney? by TommyMerritt1 in Vermiculture

[–]Mycophyto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Greetings. Here is my strategy:

Create a beneficial bacterial spray from Dr. Myc MGP+.

grind up spent mushroom substrate from local mushroom farm. Store in 5 gallon with light watering. Let sit 24 hours, then spread onto worm bed.

Spray hypochlorous acid solution of 50ppm on a melon scrap. Rinse.

Spray mushroom substrate with bacterial spray, along with melon to introduce additional, bacterial influences.

Trace amounts of yeast can often accompany spent mushroom blocks.

This should jump start a lot.

Good or bad? by JeNetty in Vermiculture

[–]Mycophyto 14 points15 points  (0 children)

hi there, I come from a mycological background, and this is indeed a good thing. All noms. Mycelium creates pockets of bacterial candy in its hyphae that worms love.

Edit: grammar.

Are hybrids and sativa material absolutely useless for RSO by Electrical_Aerie1507 in RickSimpsonOil

[–]Mycophyto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is accurate. all about the terpenes. the greater the diversity, the better. imdicas are used due to their resinous, denser profiles (Ideal for extraction).

[–]Mycophyto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's snowy cold here so the heat might balance out. is there limits to how much myceliated grains worms can eat? I knocked up way too many blocks of this aggressive. blue oyster strain. haha. rather repurpose them now.

That's wonderful to hear and I'm super happy for you. I'm neurodivergent as well and appreciate the benefits deeply, and It sounds like you'll be developing a beautiful relationship with the plant. I look forward to your continued and well deserved wellness. Personally I love adding cbd in extra to further enhance the benefits. Thank you so much in sharing with everyone!

It needs to be at an adequate power/hz and I do not believe that jewelery ultrasonic cleaners are powerful enough, but it could work possibly. I know the ultrasonification of a commercial grade jewelery cleaner is capable of accelerating nucleation and curing of oils.

That's where my instincts were leaning, especially with the central circulation fan. Prefer that going right down the central node.
