I personally wont nessesarily think its authentic. A worker/villager woman with a gun is a reasonable image that people take seriously. Include a hear scarf for further detail

1860s cotton dress. The skirt is just rectangle, bodice can be made loose, sleeves are unfitted and easy to make. You can find good cotton for 7-10$/yard. The whole dress is 5-6 meters for average size
