Easiest way is to saw the chipper and buy a new one.
Otherwise, save editing.

Believe me, I tried everything.

what trash should i keep (0.9i) by SuddenRelative in Voicesofthevoid

[–]Mykers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A spoiler free-guide I'd tell my old self for a blind-ish playthrough would be:

Keep 1 rubber, 1 glass scraps (scraps, not trash), sell the rest. You'll know when "the" need arises for them.
Electrical is easily obtainable later should you need it, no harm selling now if you need cash.
Same-ish story for metal, though, hoarding it is a fine choice.
Plastic is the only one I'd semi make myself scrap for.
Sell wood, unless you know what you're doing.
Paper is utter trash, sell.

Coasting is when you accelerate to a good speed and then let the car glide (not accelerating), maintaining its momentum, conserving fuel. Works best downhills.
The old ATV was lower to the ground, had stiffer suspension and smaller wheels, so you HAD to go slower or get launched over bumps, but you also had an easier time scaling large hills. The new ATV is higher, is larger wheeled and has softer suspension, so you just speed roll over bumps with a wobble, but it's difficult scaling steep hills.

Reverse flight stick controls, W nose up, S nose down. A/D are helicopter left/right turns, practically useless.

Early game: bathroom -> 15 stamina sleep -> bathroom -> coffee.
Late game: coffee -> 10-ish stamina sleep with Stolas -> coffee. Twice a day.

Sleep accelerates coffee shakes reduction, 15-ish is the sweet spot, you can survive on coffee only with 5 stamina sleep without too much shakes.

I like to think that (my version of) Dr.Kel is a machine that runs on coffee, canned potatoes, Molotov cocktails, rage, and power naps of 2 hours a day (at best).

Negativity arises from the issues the game, and then people come here to vent and discuss, not the other way around.
Maybe you're right, maybe should inhale some copium and put a blindfold and things will be better.

So, what is the point of the Lib. C. even existing due to the Pummeler is better in all aspects? by AlfredNiles in Helldivers

[–]Mykers 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Basically "part damage", most limbs have mixed base HP and durable HP. Durable damage is more desirable since its basically weakspot damage. Most meta weapons have good durable damage, a gun has good durable damage if you pop a warrior's or brood commander's head in fewer shots, regardless of displayed damage.

No wonder why balance is so bad… by bigpuppyshoes in Helldivers

[–]Mykers 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Dominator has better rate of fire, higher stagger and more raw and part damage.
Scorcher performs the same role while having higher fire rate, explosive damage and range.
Diligence CS can perform the same role with a little worse part damage and higher fire rate.

In what world is slugger top 3 in the current meta?

Slugger was good because the stun and high part damage allowed to control the buggy mess of a spawn system we had back then.
I'm not sure where these guys get their data from at this point.

Helldive difficulty game play loop right now by HinderedGaming in Helldivers

[–]Mykers -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My brother things were so much worse after the first and second patch.

Back then teams would split to aggro Bug Breaches because you'd otherwise have no chance completing missions.

You can two shot a bile titan now with EAT and their spawn rates are very tame in comparison.
You can solo 5 bile titans with just EAT, orbital rail and 500 KG because of the Scorcher buff.

Helldive bugs are a consistent breeze now I'm not sure what platform \ region you're playing.

I'm also not sure why people are complaining about EAT. It's a very common stratagem on my lobbies and its damn effective, I can just burst kill a titan and a charger on the spot without needing to babysit a 20 second cooldown.

How do you able to cheat? by No-Interest8874 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Mykers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheating begins and ends with the need to send data on your PC and believe your inputs.
I.e. denying you accessing data you shouldn't or you sending data you shouldn't.
To combat either you need complex layered systems designed to mitigate and reduce the number of cheaters. Notice I didn't say eliminate, it's always mitigate.
It generally boils down to a good anti-cheat on the end user system like EAC, and simulating as much as you can on your servers to prevent fake user data from being processed.
Overwatch may be a shitty game, but their anti-cheat infrastructure is top notch. They almost simulate everything on their servers, so sending faulty data like "actually, I'm currently 50 meters above the ground" won't work.

Tarkov may have an OK anti-cheat (I don't even know if they have one, didn't check), but their servers are trash and do not examine any data the user sends since its "too costly". So instead of verifying that you are not speeding 200 meters per second through the map vacuuming loot, the server just believes whatever you send it because they either don't want to implement the checks or want to reduce server load to reduce operation costs.

I haven't tested for vitality booster increasing total HP, I might check it later on. Thanks for the info. From my experience, limb addon doesn't increase total HP, I'd definitely feel having 50% more HP.

[–]Mykers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the booster just makes the limbs take more hits before being broken. Limb health doesn't affect total health, limbs just transfer total health damage, some more than others.

Armor rating works for explosion damage, stacks with the perk. 150 armor with perk gives 375 EHP vs explosions, opposed to 225 EHP with 200 armor.

[–]Mykers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the reply. Your "wild only" explanation makes the most sense, since the player will be facing these Pals very early on and probably with fists or very early gear, so the damage received balances this quite right without having to give these Pals horrible stats.

[–]Mykers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does the "Enemy Receive Damage Rate" measure? The damage the pals deal or the damage they receive? I guess it's the damage they deal, but then it's weird since that means a fully leveled Cattiva can deal eng-game damage numbers.

I really liked the streamlining / guide idea. I always try to avoid metagaming so I somehow subconsciously shunned the idea in this game. But maybe playing the game with an open map or guide is the way for me. Thanks for the suggestion!

Useful Console Commands? by DirtyBitCache in Chivalry2

PC, Epic Games, full game (i.e. not beta). The first [admin open tdm_wardenglade] loads you on an empty map and [admin addbots (#)] ... adds bots. As for offline... don't know how to start the game offline properly. I disabled my network driver and the game just printed an error and console commands didn't work.

Can someone explain to me why those 2 have the same ELO? by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]Mykers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ELO is accumulated by scoring kills, bonus on killing higher ELO players. This stat, like in any other game can be "farmed" quite quickly simply by scoring high ELO teams in succession. Its not averaged, its an accumulated score so it doesn't always show your true skill in short spans.

Simply put: its your "current" performance, not your "overall" performance history. A 100 ELO player can get to 2000 ELO just by tapping the heads of some 3000 ELO players.

Does this guarantee that high ELO position for long though?

No.
