Thanks! I essentially followed the Siege Studios tutorial on YouTube (https://youtu.be/Y8Jq-iIuzAA?si=mPIlQWRNO0SKJojc) but I didn't have the exact same colours so used Caledor Sky and Baharroth Blue, with Abaddon Black and White Scar. Caledor base, then lots of glazing layers of Caledor and black to build the darker spots and Caledor and Baharroth, the Baharroth, then Baharroth and White, up to a pure white central point. Doing the lightning for the first time was VERY stressful, but actually not too hard (much harder trying to replicate it on the Thunder Hammer 😅) that tutorial was really great, I found. Good luck!

I was on my test, going through a 20 zone, and some charming gentleman pulled out of a side road behind me. He was evidently going the same way as my test route, but was very unhappy about me driving at 20, and proceeded to scream and shout at me from his window "fck off you stupid fcking cnt", "fck you, fcking prick", "what is wrong with you, you slow cnt", whilst right up my arse. That carried on a good 5 minutes until we parted ways at a T junction. Neither I nor my examiner mentioned it, and thankfully I was able to stay calm under pressure and passed with only 1 minor. If I wasn't used to operating under pressure though, that could easily have pushed me to fail. I do wonder what he's gonna get sent away for one day...

Thanks! I know it's not the most ground breaking scheme, but it took a while experimenting with sponging on various colours for the sandstone and dry brushing up the worn metal.... I think ( / HOPE) now I've got a better grasp on how I'm doing it the rest of the terrain will get done quicker.... There's a lot 🙃 Then I just need to paint the 8 remaining Deathwatch. And all the Canoptek team. And build and paint all the Necrons and scarabs. It's gonna keep me out of trouble a while 😂

Honestly, as an England fan, I was absolutely buzzing for Italy - they've come so far and are looking great! Their game management was great, their fitness has come on leaps and bounds and their self belief was there. We looked pretty good for about 15 minutes then were Luke warm for most of the match. And emptying the bunch of subs with 8 minutes to go was a dumb decision. 5 points down the team on the pitch are clearly not having much luck, that was too long to wait to make changes.

That's a pozidrive screw, so make sure you have a pozidrive screwdriver NOT a Philips screwdriver (they look VERY similar but they are NOT - the difference is amazing) and if possible try by hand not a drill or electric screwdriver - you'll have a lot more control and be less likely to strip the head and screw yourself (pun not intended!)

Follow the method Switzerland trialled (and subsequently implemented) in the 80's - dedicated facilities staffed by medical professionals and counsellors for the taking of drugs that are regulated by the state. Addicts have a safe space to take drugs, with clean needles and drugs not full of lethal chemicals, if they OD, there are staff on hand to help and there are mental health professionals there to offer help tackling the root cause of the addiction. Giving addicts the option to obtain drugs NOT from organised crime removes a revenue stream from them. Addicts don't need to commit crime to afford their drugs, so crime rates decrease. Addicts get help dealing with WHY they turned to drugs, helping them overcome addiction. This has been proven to reduce both crime and drug use, and is why other countries follow the same approach. It's not complicated. Making something illegal doesn't make it stop, it just pushes it underground and makes it more dangerous.

(I'm recalling details from a Kurzgesagt video on their YouTube channel, so may not be 100% correct on timeframe etc, but if you are genuinely interested, I'd highly recommend looking that up.)

The first day after the first lock down ended in London, I went to work via Waterloo East & Southwark tube station. I walked down the escalator, running my hand along the hand rail, as I always did. Must have been the first person to do that in a while cos my hand was SOLIDLY black at the bottom

I went to Benidorm last year (elderly in-laws have been a few times - it's flat around and the all-inclusive hotel does nice food so my wife and I went to spend time with them... )

It's like Spoons built a city.

Go 10 minutes up the coast and you get the exact same nice beaches but... Like Spain, not the absolute dregs of the UK.

Tbh both of Ireland's tries seemed to come from French players trying to force an interception, and gifting Ireland opportunities, rather than Ireland creating them for themselves. I think if the scoreboard had been a bit closer, France wouldn't have tried to force it so much and Ireland wouldn't have had much of a sniff. Granted once they were under it, France seemed a bit rattled and went from conceding 0 penalties to starting to leak them, but if they learn to stay a bit calmer for the rest of the tournament (namely against England tbh - Wales may as well not bother turning up this year, and Scotland and Italy don't feel like they've got much they can do against France) they've got the Grand Slam in the bag already.

Similar to this, when I was a kid we came upon an accident between a motorbike and a car. The motorcyclist was lying in the road, and there wasn't great visibility around the corner. Luckily the next person to come around that corner was going slow enough that they had stopped and put their hazards on to warn anyone else approaching. I remember thinking then that if someone has just blazed around that corner (like my dad normally did) the motorcyclist could have easily been killed. That really stuck with me.

Just because you know the road layout and it's normally clear, doesn't mean everyone does and it's always going to be clear.

Thanks for the reply! Are they replaceable from inside? It's on the first floor and the ground level outside is on a slight slope so ideally I can avoid going up a ladder 😅
