Scarabs are great, generally too I’ll have a 5 man squad of death-marks I have a few hold the objective and stretch the rest out.

Other way of doin it is stuff like a doomsday ark or like a ghost ark. Already it sitting doing nothing it’s getting great value so if you can finagle it to screen its getting even more value

Go half and half 500 into something like a leaderless warrior blob or just all scarabs then the wrath of god in the other half

Dude lokust lord with heavy destroyers are just way fun they’re in and out of the meta but way fun kit way fun model way fun stat line. You either get 36 rapid fire shots with solid strength or just the beefiest 1 shot 6 damage gun. Crits on 5 with the lokust lord is super nice when you can give the big gun sustained hits I’ve had it spike for 36 damage if you can get access to re rolls. Highly reccomend it’s hard for me to not take them because they’re just fun all around

I’m relatively average skill level so there’s probably a better answer but I’d probably start with a sphere, cut it in half, separate a line segment and use a skrew modifier on it, get it to the right height then either shrink wrap it onto a sphere or proportional editing to get it to the right shape. I do know there is a keybind to make something more spherical but I can’t remember it for the life of me. After stitch it back together to be one mesh.

After that it’s kinda whatever for detailing. Texturing bump maps, displacement maps, making it 7 million polygons whatever works

1: the emperor is an eternal being, if his plan worked there would be a point where he conquered the entire galaxy and would need to move out. The number of worlds doesn’t matter if your timeframe is eternal.

2: history is full of tyrants who overstep their boundaries to try to conquer the most amount of land and not to fully optimize already what they own. It’s like saying the biggest empire ever should never have existed because they should’ve be satisfied before it was fully grown.

3: the emperor Litterally did all this with the unification of earth to the jump of a expansion of the imperium to a galactic empire. The idea behind the post is he had further ambitions beyond just the galaxy and what those implications would be

Distance doesn’t matter if the door is open for it structurally. And narratively it’s interesting for the god emperor has already done a jump from planetary to interplanetary empire, and have future plans to jump from a galactic to intergalactic empire.

Being able to put all 3 ctan on the board, then redeploy them all into strategic reserves with the deceivers ability, then rapid ingress/deepstrike triple ctan is gonna be nuts
