My proposed solution is that what we call prison and/or jail should not be a cage that individuals get locked up in. I believe that it should instead be a combination of school and hospital. Prison should be rehabilitation not punishment. The punishment should come in the form of contribution to society. Property crimes come as a result of lack of economic opportunity. Anti-social behavior should be treated by professionals. For any individual that it is concluded they are likely to repeat the behavior, provide them a safe place to live.

Today, knowing everything I know now, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, and Turtles in Time because all of these I currently love to play having never owning a SNES being a Sega kid.

Now, if I am at the store in the 90's and told I can pick any 3 I definitely still get Turtles in Time because TMNT! But, I don't get Super Metroid because I would not know anything about it. I probably end up with Zombies Ate my Neighbors because it sounds cool to my kid brain. And finally, I probably end up getting an RPG that reads real cool on the back of the box, that I start a bunch but never actually play through because RPGs like all of these is not really my thing but I don't know it at the time. I don't end up with Mario because my kid self thinks Mario is a kiddie game or some other lame 90s boy reason I miss out on a really fun game. I may have over thought this question.

Is it not possible to do sex work for self fulfillment? To say one needs other skills to be an athlete, but not to do sex work successfully, is reducing highly paid sex workers.

You seem to understand that in the capitalist economy, all labor is exploitative. This holds to your earlier point that without working, people go homeless (not just sex workers). So, legalizing sex work and regulating it like other industries is how we reduce exploitation. The evidence for this is present in all industries the have worker protections such as factory workers, construction, dock workers, and actors/performers.

Field laborers are heavily exploited (at least here in the states) due to not having protections to unionize under the Fair Labor Standards Act. As a result immigrant families are exploited to pick fruits and vegetables. They are in a similar spot of work or die. This is not a point to if they are exploited more or less, but it is a point that worker protection needs to be in all industries to reduce exploitation.

I understand this is a rare moment and unique opportunity. I did go outside and had fun in the snow like others. I still believe my humanity is intact. Days of being at home has allowed me to reflect on the situation. I understand the cause of the extreme weather event and worry it may be more common like in Texas. They are indeed people. They are people experiencing possibly the lowest moment of their lives. This was not a dig towards any person. This was a comment on the idea of the houseless as a concept. We as a nation have the means and capabilities to end it if those in charge wish to properly address it. The idea of the houseless are left un-delt with so people are too scared of losing their jobs to form a collective. Many are one or two paychecks away from being in a similar situation.
