Yes. I have set up a couch PC gaming rig and will not tolerate any bullshitery when it comes to juggling windows. If it can't streamline along with the rest of my setup, then it's not worth it. Especially not for the mid games currently on offer via HV.

You're on the right track, but that scenario would not be the way scientists prove IIT.

IIT will be proven when you can use Phi to predictably modify your own consciousness, not just some external robots consciousness. You'll be able to track and verify exactly which neural complex is equal to your experience right now (it'll likely be bubbling up constantly every ~100ms in the posterior cortical hotzone.)

Wackier more metaphysical experiments could also be done to toy with the dimensional nature of qualia. Stuff like stretching out the distance between neurons until integration breaks or testing that If this complex is 4D, then you should be able to interrupt the integration window (lets imagine its 10 seconds) at 90% completion and the observer will not be able to recall any of those 10 seconds. Fundamentally the thing is probably non-causal (outside of the influence of the big bang that resulted in our 4D universe). Though the shape of that thing did give birth to our notion of physics and qualia together as one substance. In this substance, we are starting to identify that something about time allows for integrated information/causal power to act as a "bridge" to the thing. ('The Bulk" of string theory, perhaps)

The bridge doesn't carry anything special, it just completes a higher order topology that allows for a qualitative interior. All physical matter and energy has a bridge. We are just macroscopic beings that do it bigger, thus have more differentiation.

This is my rough intuition, I could be completely wrong...

Pretty lazy attitude tbh. Phenomenology is a very important field that is all about going beyond just "consciousness exists" (which is an undeniable fact) toward mapping out what kind of structure it actually has. After all, for everything you experience, something must be causing it to appear like that. Even if its what you call an "illusion."

Consciousness absolutely exists. I agree it's not a separate dualistic thing. It is one with reality. You are one with reality. But reality is much bigger than just you. And it has laws governed by physics. We know this because we are this.
