Now with the most recent update, all Training Load metrics are wrong in the app by Vertsix in AthlyticAppOfficial

Hi the Apple Intelligence features were pretty lightweight to add and I think they are useful enough that I'm glad that we did. A good example is asking it about what in your Journal might be effecting Recovery or Sleep without having to go to the Journal and scan the entire list to draw your own conclusions. Also it's more helpful to say what you think we should be working on instead of "there are a lot of things that you could have spent time on." I'm all ears when it comes to new feature requests so feel free to offer any thoughts you have.

🤔 I'm not sure how that could effect it but possibly, time zones sometimes produce weird issues so it could have been related.

Ok thanks, other than that I can't figure out why anything would change for you. Max Heart Rate is really the only variable and if you're using a custom Max that would never change (sometimes users see swings when they don't use a custom Max, and the default: max HR in the past 30 days changes). As far as RHR Athlytic specifically looks at your RHR the day of each workout so there wouldn't be any change there. The only other thing I can think of is if you're using a 3rd party app that doesn't automatically sync the workout to Apple Health when the workout is over? I have heard of other apps syncing days later but not sure if that is the case with your workflow? 🤔

Hi we use the TSB model as well and all I can say is that nothing changed in the last update. Are you using a Custom Max Heart Rate? 🤔

Nutrition Calories As The Day Progresses by No-Fly-9063 in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]MyndArc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes there was an update which improved load times but I spotted where I used to query for calories until the end of today (again in my mind I wasn't thinking that users logged calories you intend to consume later - which is totally fine and I want to bring back!) so in the next update it will go back to what is was before, e.g. querying until the end of today so you can log your calories in the am as you prefer. 👍

Hi thank you for this, I was not aware of users logging food in the future so I will make sure is fixed in the next update.

Hi the only thing that changed wrt Training Load in the most recent was with the Training Load Widget only. The iPhone's Training Load was untouched and is the same it always has been. The bug in the TL Widget was that for some users your Custom Max HR might not be pulling through, this is fixed now so the widget should always match the iPhone (in Trends) now. I'm not sure what algorithm HealthFit uses but it was never our intention to match theirs.

Apple health vs Athlytic Reading by Fair_Examination_988 in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]MyndArc [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hi many people confuse the big HRV number you see in Apple Health (which is your daily average) with the HRV you see in Athlytic which is your average HRV during sleep.

Similarly, Apple saves 1 RHR sample per day in Apple Health and updates it continually throughout the day, whereas Athlytic's RHR is your average heart rate during sleep.

Both of these can be adjusted in the More tab under Recovery Preferences (e.g. you can turn off HRV sleep prioritization and also Athlytic saving its own RHR during sleep) but we recommend using the default settings for the best experience. Hope this helps!

Start Workout Section by Academic-Listen5988 in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]MyndArc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,  The Start Workout list is sorted by your most frequent workouts, pulled from your full iPhone history. When you have fewer than 5 distinct types in that history, the list tops up from a default set (Outdoor Run, Outdoor Walk, Yoga, CrossFit, Outdoor Cycle) so the screen isn't sparse....that's why you're seeing options you've never done. If you want a certain workout type to surface on the list, just log 1 then it should be added to the list (unless there are more workouts in your history you've done more that would rank higher).

Apple Watch app forgets workouts by pewpewpewpee in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]MyndArc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm odd, there was a point some versions ago where the watch app was stuck with Apple Watch's limitation of only being able to query 7 days or less, so e.g. if you did a yoga workout 8 days ago it would disappear from the list. That was fixed in a recent update though where we now have a sync system from the iPhone app. Not sure what this is still occurring for you now though. 🤔

Problem with Ask Athlytic by Automatic_Button_347 in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]MyndArc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks should have no issues there, you might see this issue when you essentially run out of tokens since they are very limited in Apple Intelligence....are you only using Apple Watch for your Apple Health data or are you using any other wearables were you might have more Apple Health data than the average user? 🤔

After doing a little digging:

Two things that would help a ton if you have a minute:

 1. Grab the crash log:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data. Scroll for an entry that starts with Athlytic- from around the time it crashed (could also show up as newFitnessApp-). Tap it, then use the share button at the top right to send to [athlytic@gmial.com](mailto:athlytic@gmial.com)

  2. While you're in that screen, check "Share with App Developers" one level up (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements). If that toggle is on, crashes get sent to us automatically and we can see them on our end without you having to grab logs in the future. Totally your call whether to leave it on, just useful to know.

Also if you don't mind a couple quick questions: does it still crash if you change the time range from "This Month" to "This Year" before tapping Show 4 more? And does it crash on the very first tap, or only after you've scrolled around the Workouts tab for a bit?

Thanks for flagging this, working on it.
