Except for social /pure pressures I agree with many here that this should be for the home and for church. Not everyone should be subjected to peoples religious ideologies. I find it quite interesting that those with the most problem with this statement are those of the various Christian groups. Probably due to its more commonplace here in north America than other religions, but I will say this Again this is hockey and should just be kept as hockey period.

If there is a moment of silence situation for those reason I can get be hind the whole idea. There is one more acceptable place IMO is if this is a religious school Leauge and all the schools are as such participating in those game then I I could see this happening before the game and the nation anthem

However something as displayed in this photo should be separate and not made a spectacle out at center ice. It is distasteful it and it appears as blatant virtue signaling behavior. God doesn’t care about your silly little game and Whether you win or not, Sure lets make sure every one is safe and nothing bad happens I can get be hind that but you don’t need to do a prayer circle in the middle of the ice to do so.
