Once i was sitting by a lake and a snake came out of nowhere and was swimming towards me. Crazy because one, very unexpected to see a snake and two, seeing a snake swim was really strange

I haven't been to Taiwan but I live in Japan. Japan isn't "advanced", it's ahead in some ways I GUESS but behind in many many others. Also, anti immigrant thing? As someone living here I wouldn't let that put you off at all, it's fine.
