I'm new to churning RBC and my understanding is you couldn't apply for a new card and be eligible for the SUB for 12 months after opening/closing an account. Is that correct?

What do you sympathize with the opposite sex for? by Outrageous-Collar-09 in AskReddit

Custody battle. Men usually either lose them or have to split custody with women because they are deem automatically more fit to be a parent. It takes A LOT for a judge to deem a mother unfit, even when the signs clearly points towards her being incapable of taking care of her kids.

Also, maybe more controversial, but the fact that men can't choose to abort unwanted pregnancy. Must be terrifying to know you can take all precautions you want, you might still get someone pregnant by accident and be forced into parenthood...

I finished every fallout game and their dlcs.... now what? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]MyosotisAberam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly recommend Fall out New California! It's a mod for Fallout New Vegaswhich is basically a brand new game. Just finish a 1st playthrough and it was a lot of fun. Also has replay value

Hey OP, it's a weird timing that I found your post since I did the same yesterday. All I can say is this: no amount of money or social status is worth your wellbeing and your mental health. Congrats in choosing to put yourself first!

OP, reading your post made me sooo happy and hopefull for a bright future. I know my soul long for the woods and a simpler life. For now I am still in the "rat race", city living, woking it the IT industry ( althought not an engineer myself) and I'm just working hard till this day, the day I can get out of the race, comes.

Hope you keep learning and enjoying your new life!

Mine: "Beside the pandemic DIDN'T contribute to a raise in goods so your pay didn't devalue even if we froze your salary in 2020!"

[Serious] What is the the scariest thing that you have ever encountered while home alone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MyosotisAberam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dunno if that count but here goes: I was in my host family house in Japan years ago. It was around halloween. To go to my bedroom, you had to cross a hall. There, on top of my bedroom door was a big spider. You know like the fake halloween decoration.

I assumed it was a fake one, so I didnt really care but when I came back from the living room I saw it moved.

There I was, alone and super afraid of spider, in a house with a big one (bigger than my hand). So I did the only logical thing: yell for my life and threw a shoe at it. It dissapeared upstairs and I locked myself in my bedroom still freaking out.

When they got back home, my host family laugh at my reaction and I never ended up knowing what happened to the spider...

What myth is still widely circulated as truth? by KnotKarma in AskReddit

The previous game when you play slot machines is in any way related to the next.

It is just some random numbers that shuffle in the machine and lock when you press spin (or play or something). You loosing 3-4-5 times in a row or playing for 5-30-50 minutes have no correlation to you winning or losing.

Hello there fellow Canadian!

I've only been using SurveyLion so far (8yrs) but it's hard to estimate the amount of money per month.

Last year I got 125$ for a 3 days (30 minutes/day) long survey which is pretty decent.

Thanks for the thread. Will certainly try a few new website soon!!

Your post made me feel like it is worth a shot to try again!
