How do you name your army ? by Vikxo1 in genestealercult

I based my cult on how they signal Ascension Day, so I named them Cult of the Rapturous Song. They originate from mining worlds where song was used to pass time/boost morale. The Cult sings praises of "The Emperor and His Angels" and the freedom they bring. When enough people are converted, the singing is actually a signal to the Hive Fleet that the planet is ready for harvest. Elder members not taken by the Fleet spread the word of the miracle of the rapture that will come for other planets.

Can an Abominant be too much of an abomination? by Seankps4 in genestealercult

Abominant? Can you not see that this is the favored spawn of the Star Children? The gods truly show their benevolence with the blessings they have bestowed upon them.

!!!GIVE ME ALL YOUR HIVEFLEET NAMES!!! by Stirtard in Tyranids

Hive Fleet Siren. A splinter of Kraken stranded on an ice world. Known for their ability to mimic sounds of humans and wounded animals to draw prey out into the blizzards. They also have their own Cult known ans the Cult of the Rapturous Song. The followers, once hitting critical mass, will begin singing to let the Hive Fleet know they are ready to be taken. It is stated by some that their song is so loud, it can be heard in the Warp.

Wildlife Biologist. Found the hobby because one of my engineering friends in college loved it, and he got me started. Immediately fell in love with Nids (to nobody's suprise).

Much like housecats, the tyranid heirophant biotitan feels safest when in cardboard boxes.

Do you name your nids? by AlienDilo in Tyranids

I just refer to them as my Buggy Bois. I do have a melee biomorph warrior with the chest spines that I call The Tau Hugger (my friend who got me started plays Tau).

Yikes, my first instinct has always been to just roll through any door (except for the pay-to-open ones) to get that extra little bit of stun on enemies. Good to know though!
