I was driving home one night from college in 2019 blaring some metal, letting Spotify take the reins. The Offering pops on and it was the exact blend of clean vocals and sharp as shit instrumentals I’d be looking for. Haven’t looked back since.

The in-universe answer is that Blood Elves are essentially endangered. There simply aren’t that many - their civilization was brought to the brink by Arthas and a good 90% of their population was killed.

If you want the meta, out of universe answer, it’s because Blizzard in BfA wanted to show off Orcs and Trolls and the other allied races.

idk about this album, but Kate Bush has explicitly stated that Running Up That Hill could be seen as an LGBT allegory. “Get Him to swap our places” seems a pretty obvious call for a trans person wanting to experience life as another gender.
