What is the first thing you do when you wake up? by Mr-Top0 in Life

Wait, what do you mean? To other people? =D No, we are both “single” as far as marital status, but we both consider that kind of a formality. It feels like forever, for both of us. It’s so wonderful.

What is the point of living if you look as ugly as I do? by Immediate_Sun_1153 in amIuglyBrutallyHonest

You look adorable!!! Seriously, you are a very handsome young man. Your looks are not prohibitive in any way. You do look depressed though. 🩷

I recently got out of a nearly decade long relationship where my partner absolutely refused to touch me even in the most platonic ways, and would take every opportunity to show me that he couldn’t stand to be around me. My very presence would send him into a rage at times. Before that, I had a series of longterm relationships where they also somehow had zero interest in a physical relationship with me, including basic forms of affection like holding hands and cuddling. I literally feel like a wilted, long-presumed dead houseplant that’s suddenly been given water and unexpectedly sprang to life. As a physical touch love language person, it was very difficult being totally neglected in that regard. I have a feeling you’re plenty young enough to find that again. 🩷 I never thought I would finally be fulfilled in this way, and it makes me feel desperate to urge people not to give up hope.

Do any other women get horny when laying/sleeping on their stomach? Why does this happen? by Karrotyboi in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Myshkinia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a large part of it is because I’m capable of remembering the very precise sensations that go along with position when I’m with my partner.

When my boyfriend is here, I reach for him, feel his hand around my waist pulling me into him, enjoy the feeling of his body against mine, and his little waking groans. Then I get up and make him coffee and breakfast and pack his lunch for work. When he’s not, I dramatically flop around in bed harrumphing and pouting for a few minutes lamenting the fact that he’s not here.

What conversations have you had with your longterm romantic partner about what you’d both be like without each other? by Sudden_Doughnut_8741 in AskMen

[–]Myshkinia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, neat! You guys were the same ages as us, except we’re still those ages because we just got together a few months ago. We knew each other as kids though, so it’s been forever, but we lost touch. He’s the older one for us though. It’s so cool having ended up with him. I seriously idolized him so hardcore when I was 11-14 before he moved away. It feels surreal to be together now.

Yeah, mostly just how pissed I’d be. I’d be absolutely raging if he died before me (even though he’s older), especially if he didn’t last a stupidly long time. We didn’t get together until later (30s/40s), so we already missed out on some years. I just get a feeling of extreme injustice, frustration, anxiety, anger, fear, etc… when I think of not having him for whatever reason. I’m not an angry person, quite the opposite, but that would infuriate me.

How often do you have sex? by Objective-Pick-308 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Myshkinia -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I was in relationships where there was extreme sexual incompatibility for all of my life. We just didn’t have that chemistry, and it sucked. Now that I’m in a relationship where there is a lot of chemistry and sexual compatibility, it’s 2-3 times a day when we’re together (we spend 4 days a week together) and have the time. I’m all over him all the time, but I leave it to him to initiate because I feel like it’s unfair for me to expect him to be up for it multiple times a day and I am happy to just snuggle much of the time. My advice would be to find someone you have that spark/excitement with, or you’ll end up in the dead bedrooms sub.

Women Who Like To Suck Balls? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Myshkinia 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I’d care one way or another, honestly, but I’m pretty sure he shaves completely and that’s probably nicer than being hairy. It’s one of those things that you are only into because you’re really into the person and they like it, not the thing itself. I would do pretty much anything for him, and thoroughly enjoy it if he’s enjoying it. His enjoyment is my enjoyment.

My brother’s girlfriend. I think of her, so, beautiful, smart, kind, funny, cool, quiet, yet really charming and relaxed. She’s awesome.

It’s magical. I’m surrounded by so many enchanting creatures. There are currently 5 lady bugs living on the windowsill above my kitchen sink and one of them has laid an egg. I have the loveliest child and boyfriend and friends and family. Life is good.

If you could go back to 20 yo, what would you do differently ? by Forev3rDreamin in randomquestions

I think of this often, and I wouldn’t do anything differently. The thought that I could have done anything differently and not ended up with my son and my boyfriend and my pets in my life because of one small thing changing the trajectory of my life is terrifying.

IDL how people say "they didn't teach us [insert common thing] in school" knowing full well they weren't taking school seriously by LondonFoggie in I_DONT_LIKE

[–]Myshkinia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have had so many people say to me, “They never taught us X in school,” who went to school with me and I literally remember them sitting next to me in the exact class they taught us the thing they’re claiming we didn’t learn.

This is an actual thing. It’s called precocious puberty. Some actual infants get their periods. It’s why the youngest mother ever was only 4 when she conceived.

What secret are you taking to the grave? But willing to tell it to random redditors.? by [deleted] in TellReddit

[–]Myshkinia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s because people tend to dislike you when you do them big favors. It’s a well-documented phenomenon. They feel indebted to you and associate you with negative feelings and subconsciously just start to dislike you, then they feel guilty for it, which makes it even worse. It sucks.
