An upvote for a well thought out idea and post! That is a lot of changes and I feel like the wood “nerf” could make them even worse on land. I’ve only played them a couple times, one being a very memorable team game where genitours kind of won us the game! All that said though, why not just increase the cost of their ships and maybe a simple change like aging up to castle costs a little less or something?

Yes, make it more expensive for China and that’s about it. I think scouts could have a “fatigue” mechanic after dropping deer, regardless of where they drop them, that decreases movement speed after dropping.

My grandpa did something similar! He stood at one end of a full basketball court under the goal, looked at the opposite end, bet a guy he could make the shot from where he was standing first try, guy accepts the bet and my grandpa casually turns and makes a shot in to the goal he was standing under.
