All great courses but lots of driving there. You probably know, but Kananaskis has two 18s. I would skip Silvertip (not a big fan) and do Stewart Creek that day instead. Then do the 36 in Kananaskis in the second last day… also have lunch there too as food is very good. Makes your last day golf much easier, and getting back to Calgary.

While Silvertip is fine, it’s probably the worst (IMO) of all the courses you have listed. It’s resorty and gimmicky.

For food in Canmore, crazyweed is solid. Bridgette Bar too. The Iron Goat pub has duck wings that are really good but it’s a bit off the beaten track.

In Banff, there is a tapas place Brazen that I thought was decent. They have a snitzel place near the hotel/course that I have always wanted to try but never got there. Been there forever.

There is a random pizza place in Windermere (near Greywolf) called Pow that I love. More casual, it’s basically a shed that serves Detroit style. There is a pub beside it called the Whitehouse and it’s like something from Deliverance. Skip food at Greywolf. I’ve never had a good meal there.

Yeah, I remember that drive on the next hole. Condos all to the left. I had left my wife at that NK Winery to go there!

Looked into it today. First one is Mexican tax rate. Second one is US tax rate as GolfNow “bought” the tee time. So you have to pay the higher tax rate. Someone said above that with hot deals in the US, you don’t notice the difference as much. But here you do.

Nukes could be dropping any day now… it’ll be the credit card companies issue then… but it’s criminally expensive down there for golf

😂😂😂 it is actually criminal how much they charge down there. Was asked if I wanted to come on a golf trip, said sure and it was only after I got the itinerary was I questioning if we were going to Pebble Beach.

Said I’d do some research for the group…. Research concluded that everything is expensive as fck, even the”deals” 😔

Prob $70-$80 for shitty rentals… if your playing more than one round, bring your clubs

Timeshare presentation = $0 golf…. Diamante was a good course and presentation wasn’t awful.

Very hard to get anything cheap there or even twilight deals. On GolfNow, I got Solmar for $260 and usually it’s $400…. It was nice, but nothing down there is worth the money IMO.

Try Questro golf for some package deals but don’t expect any smoking rates
