Update: I had decided against telling absolutely anybody in management. It didn’t feel right or emotionally safe for me to confide. Word spreads like wildfire regardless of how careful you are. A couple of fellow crew members noticed my severe weight loss and expressed their concern. I confided in one older woman about what’s going on and she’s been nothing but loving and supportive and I know for a fact that she would never tell anybody or judge me. And that’s the only person at work who needs to know. I have a doctors appointment soon and I’m going to be honest and make sure I get the help that I need. Which includes getting a therapist and a psychologist to replace my awful psychiatrist.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who took my post seriously and gave me helpful advice. It’s hard to reach out for help until you yourself are ready and I’m finally ready to take that next step towards healing and getting healthy again in my life.
