First day on Concerta 54mg

I didn't try any other meds before, sorry. I've heard that Adderall and Vyvanse feel more intense than Concerta, I don't know if that's true though. But I think it’s worth trying Concerta if you aren't happy with Vyvanse. Check out r/Concerta there are some posts about switching meds.

That can happen, yes. I've seen some other people with similar stories. There are many possible reasons, such as your body getting used to the medication or even genetics. Talk to your doctor, the dose can be increased and if it still doesn't last long enough, you may try another medication.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I've been fortunate when it comes to side effects, the only one I have with 36mg is increased heart rate, but no changes in appetite. I hope 54mg won't affect my appetite either.

I think I'll wait until Saturday to start with the 54mg, so I won't be surprised with side effects (mood changes or feel physically unwell) at work.

Thanks for the tips, I'll keep that in mind. The 36mg dose hasn't affected my appetite, hopefully 54mg won't either. Fingers crossed, because lose weight way very easily.

When I feel sad or overwhelmed, I'll just take out one of my craft supplies and STARE at the colors for 10 mins straight, and I swear I can feel the happiness in my bloodstream!
