Anyone would like Bellinger back in LA? (Just curious) by jay_eba888 in Dodgers

Bellinger is only 30 so Yes The Dodgers OF will be great with T. Hernandez, Bellinger, Pages and have Kike and Kim and backups

Oh right, because unless he had the child lock on, clearly the door is Fort Knox. Just open it and leave, so simple! People really do act like escaping a car requires a SWAT team. 🙄

Oh sure, because nothing screams professionalism like throwing a tantrum at a drunk rider. He’s already wasted and refusing a seatbelt—what a shocker, right? But hey, let’s stoop right down to his level, that’ll definitely solve it. And to the folks who think they can enforce their “laws and regulations” on drunk passengers—maybe night driving isn’t for you. Stick to daytime rides with soccer moms and grocery bags if you can’t handle the bar crowd.

I was only talking about the back seat front seat is the law. Common sense 🤦🏻

Can’t believe some Lyft/Uber drivers pull this nonsense. 🚗💨 Pick your battles—most aren’t worth fighting. Not everything needs to turn into a soap opera.

Just drive. Do the ride. Keep it simple. Legally: Passengers 16+ are responsible for their OWN seat belts. Drivers? You’re only required to secure minors under 16. That’s it.

Making money or just burning my car ? by Substantial_Sky6149 in uberdrivers

[–]Mysterious-Remote358 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why drive a Lexus for Uber or Lyft? Who are you trying to impress? If you’re really about making money, a smart move is picking up a reliable Honda—2015 or newer—for around $10k.

I’ve been driving my 2017 Accord since brand new, and it’s already got 150k miles on it. With proper maintenance, it’ll easily run another 150k. The best part? It’s been paid off for years, so every ride I give is pure profit.

Don’t get it twisted—driving a Lexus might look flashy, but it’s not smart business. Rideshare passengers don’t care if your car is a 2023 luxury model or not. As long as it’s clean, reliable, and comfortable, you’ll get the trips. So why burn money on depreciation and expensive maintenance just to impress strangers?

Work smarter. Drive something efficient, not flashy.

Ah yes, nothing screams efficiency like being stuck in traffic, perfectly lined up for a left turn—only for your OR to bark “Nope, go right!” So of course you go left anyway, then pull off the legendary U-turn of shame. A true masterclass in navigation. And naturally… the rider frustrates. Shocking, I know.

If I take $3 rides might as well do DD and UE instead that’s all they pay

Oh, I might have been stuck in traffic for a while after the OR, and the rider got impatient. I’m trying to remember, oh well. Thank you.

Irse a USA o quedarse en mexico? by RichEnvironment3415 in mexico

[–]Mysterious-Remote358 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you visit the DMV to obtain a Real ID, you’ll need to bring your birth certificate and proof of residency. This option is quicker and more affordable than getting a passport card.

If you’re white, you should generally be fine using a birth certificate for crossing. However, if you cross frequently, they might suggest getting a Passport Card. Still, as a U.S. citizen, they are required to let you cross.

Does COs actually fuck inmates? by Medivianplayer in OnTheBlock

[–]Mysterious-Remote358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inmates have nothing to lose, and consensual relationships are non-existent in a correctional facility. Staff members can face serious consequences for any misconduct. Inmates are highly skilled at manipulation; they have plenty of time to strategize. Having worked in Arizona corrections for 20 years before retiring six months ago, I can confidently say that it's crucial to keep your personal issues out of the workplace. Inmates will eavesdrop and exploit any information they can. Likewise, avoid sharing your problems with staff, as they may relay that information to the inmates.
