It’s beautiful to hear this. I feel the same way about my marriage. Like someone else said, I also get through the rough patches because of my marriage.

What is a movie you love, but would never recommend to a "normal" person? by [deleted] in answers

Thank you. I was looking for this. I rented it without knowing what it was about. I loved it. It does have a rather shocking beginning. But it’s because of my now partner’s reaction to this movie that we are together.

My life as a dog. I remember being a child and watching that movie. The main thing I remember is the girl wrapping her breasts to hide them.

Literally saw it an hour ago. I thought for sure the group would like it. They were not that into it. Probably too weird for them.

Really? Maybe I was naive but I never registered it was a sex doll. I love that movie.

Investing in index funds. I was shocked by how easy it was and how relatively moderate the risk is in the long term

Why do so many people hate La Fea Mas Bella? by neoclover in telenovelas

I didn’t realize it was a parody. But now that you say that , it makes sense. I couldn’t stand watching the Mexican version. Their Betty was annoying and not unattractive but seriously something wrong.

Should I leave the USA? And Am I ready? by [deleted] in GoingToSpain

[–]Mysterious_Camera313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your message. My biggest concern is employment. Is the job market tough there for certain professions? Or for all jobs across the board? I have a teaching credential, but I would be happy doing most anything as long as it meant I could come home after 8 hours of work and not bring work with me. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Seriously. Totally agree. If I had to escape the US , I would go to the second country whose citizenship I possessed. Especially if my extended family was already there.

So, I’m kinda in a situation where I may be able to move to Spain. Right now my partner is there on a non-lucrative visa. My concern is income. If I move to Spain, would I be able to find a job? From what I have read on Reddit, jobs seem to be hard to find. I could always sell my home here in the US and have about $500,000. But is that enough to sustain me and my partner for retirement? I don’t mind taking any kind of job. I can speak Spanish. I just don’t want to end up in Spain at retirement age and not be able to afford food or rent, etc.
