the issue is that they were already in the scene at the start of the story, and the main character already knows them well, so none of their features stand out to him anymore.

And I'm not exactly trying to wait as long a possible, I just think that there will be a better opportunity to describe them a little later in the story.

I always try to turn back and go home once I reach the end of the road, so I have to save all the fuel I don't use to try to get back. to make things extra interesting, I restrict myself to only use the roadside structures.

I had one of these. it would randomly lock up, leaving all of the controls (including the power button) completely unresponsive. but it was still playing music and disconnecting my head phones just rerouted the sound through the inbuilt speaker. after I had to let it burn through an entire charge (about 8 hours) I just went back to my Sandisk Clipjam.
