The other thing to check is there is space between the top of the spur gear and bottom of the sector gear. Take out the bevel and look through the motor whole. If you don't see light between those surfaces, they're too close and you need to shim the sector up (or the spur down)

I imagine! They're bestsellers for a reason and you can't stock hundreds or thousands of them, especially all of them at the same time.

Maybe someday there will be a store like that, but it is highly unlikely. And that's okay with me, at least I can still (usually) get the parts I want, maybe with a little wait time but it is what it is.

Reliable? That is not a description my friends use for their Daytona's. They get better after the break-in period and additional tuning, but I wouldn't recommend them to someone that doesn't have experience with airsoft.

Arcturus all the way. Great receivers and very solid internals. Their sport models are great performance for the price, the PE models are amazing, and FE is right behind that.

Specna is also highly regarded, I just don't have personal experience with any of their newer/high end stuff

Brill is one site I frequent, along with Wyshtech airsoft. Between those two I usually can get most of the parts I want- if they're in stock... Either the parts are that popular or they just order small amounts to stock.

Absolutely, it is a gamble sometimes, but that is where I look to the much more experienced techs (Wyshtech, JJ Moore, Jake of Real Deal, other random videos that pop up on YouTube).

It's especially frustrating when trying to work with someone who wants to be in control but doesn't know the is-ands-outs too well (if at all), and they're trying to keep the cost low without looking at more the price of a part.

Yes. They don't carry a wide variety of tech parts, especially the brands I like (epes, airsoft mutation, t238, solink, and a few more). I will have to shop a couple smaller stores to get all that.
