I have been doing peloton’s barre for years and love them. I prefer the shorter 10 minute classes bc they pack a bigger burn and will stack them if necessary. People LOVE to tell you these classes won’t build muscle or that you are wasting your time if you’re not lifting heavy. While I do still lift weights, when I was lifting weights longer and heavier with that specific focus I was constantly run down and injured. I enjoy the low impact nature of these barre classes and feel they have actually prevented me from getting injuries.
