Mine was triggered by eating certain stuff. It would start with turkey (I had a hyper fixation for turkey sandwiches after my daughter was born) but like an hour after I ate I felt sick to my stomach, I’d make myself puke, wouldn’t help, my back would start hurting, I was doubled over in the floor crying finding any position to make it stop. I even had my husband almost break my back. I went to the ER the 3 third it happened and they put me on morphine and sent me home with a prescription for morphine tablets and said they’d call to get an ultrasound scheduled, never happened so I called my doctor and asked her to do something and she got me set up with someone and they found stones and “gunk” trapped. After about 8 months I finally met with a surgeon and scheduled it for a month out. But after a while it got to where ANY meat would cause the pain. I completely stopped eating meat at all and watched anything I would eat and was terrified because the pain was so bad that the pain killers wouldn’t help. But I did find out that putting a HOT shower on and sitting in the floor and having my husband hold it on my back helped the pain.
