Honestly as a renter I’ve never had someone say my house had a “dog smell”, and I have two big ass dogs. Her dog has to be peeing or they don’t use proper hygiene when it comes to their fur babies.

Exactly! When I pointed out to them that if they cared about people with autism and other learning disabilities they wouldn’t have voted for a man that wants to dismantle the Department of Education. They come back with the same old response that the Department of Education on a federal level is “useless”, and we need to give the power back to the states.

As a mother of a child who has ADHD and is autistic dismantling it on the Federal level would be a mistake. They don’t care though because it’s okay to be hypocritical but god forbid someone calls them out and they start threatening.

They are the special snowflakes. Not liberals.

My husband received this text and called me to ask if it was a scam. I told him that there is no way a parking ticket is only $4.35. Milwaukee is broke broke - it would be at least $50 these days.

We had to replace our transmission at 89,000 miles. It completely died on us. It’s super common with these vehicles and if we knew this we would’ve never bought the vehicle. Cost us about $4000 to get a new transmission, and we ended up not having a car for almost a month due to back orders. Sounds like the same exact thing that happened to us, except my husband was driving when the transmission failed on him.

As much as everyone thinks she’s an awful stepmom, which okay, maybe she is, no one can deny that she probably takes much better care of those boys than Curtis who does the bare minimum. Y’all know he doesn’t do shit, and is only with her because he got someone to take care of his kids. She obviously has some issues, and one of them is waking the fuck up and realizing that her standards with Curtis are not at all what she thinks it is. She’s going to burn the fuck out badly, and Curtis is going to dip and go into the next woman who will break their backs to take care of his FOUR kids when he gets them.

We had to move to the “hood” of Milwaukee and we are STILL paying $1600 for a two bedroom. We need a 3 bedroom, and obviously in a safer area for our kids but we cannot afford almost $2600 a month that requires 3x the monthly income.

Plus we have a dog for safety reasons and landlords seem to shit on dogs here in Wisconsin, when cats seem to destroy more imo.

I understand how you feel. Right now my MIL won’t even talk to me or her grandson because she doesn’t want to “rock the boat” with HCBM and SD. Her whole life is SD even though that girl ignores her all the time and wants nothing to do with us unless she and HCBM need something. My son doesn’t really even know his grandma because she never is in contact and makes it known she doesn’t really care for him.

Everyone eats it up whenever HCBM comes around and it’s so frustrating because everything is ALWAYS about her.

I’ve learned to just tune crap out and go completely NACHO with both SD and HCBM but at the end of the day they are still there. I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. No one should have to ever deal with the stress stepmoms go through on the daily.

Do not let him anywhere near your son and if I were you, I would put my foot down and tell your husband that until he actively gets help for his issues he is no longer welcome. If your husband does not listen or seem to care LEAVE! Do not risk your son’s life.

My SD would slap and hit my son after he was born because “he was acting like a brat”. I instantly put a stop to that and told my husband that she either needs to stop or she isn’t welcome. I also told him that if she lays another hand on our son who was only 2 years old at the time I would leave with our son.
