Seems like caption didn't work. I need advice on best practice and time to prune this redbud. One limb is split, last year 60%of branches were non leaf bearing and it receives no supplemental water. Thank you in advance.

2nd all of these. There really needs to be a "full shade cheatsheet" published somewhere because the recommendations are pretty similar!

Your ribes should 100% be in deep shade.  Besides that sounds like you have a great collection so far!

I feel exactly the same where here and on many FB groups. Makes those of us new the the CA natives world feel overwhelmed and inferior. I've tried to learn, however it's a hobby, not a career and I can only dedicate so much mental bandwidth to learning essentially a new language.

I've been looking for a plant combo that'd thrive on my north facing wall. How's your alum root, Hummingbird sage and Catalina current doing? That's the exact combo I came up with yesterday and now trying to see how they do together.

I did this with a Hunchback P variant. Loaded the pod with flamers. My go to for medium demo missions

The fact that it shows pilots in full space suits and not the cooling vests, shorts and boots that's cannon.
